German Language Course

German is the most widely spoken native language in the European Union and ranks twelfth among the most spoken languages globally. Approximately 130 million people in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Belgium, Liechtenstein, and South Tyrol (Italy) speak German as their native language or use it regularly as a second language.

Purpose of Learning

The purpose of learning German varies from person to person. Common goals include studying, working, and migration, among others. Additionally, in Arab countries, German speakers tend to earn the highest wages among other foreign language speakers.

What Are the Levels of the Language?

Level A Level B Level C
Basic language use Independent language use Proficient language use

To simplify the learning process, each of the six levels in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is divided into two sub-levels (e.g., A1.1 and A1.2, B1.1, etc.). This means you can complete each sub-level in 48 lessons.

Language Levels from A1 to C2

Goals, vocabulary range, and grammar scope according to CEFR standards:

Level A1 | Beginners

Begin constructing your first sentences in German. This course is for you if you have no or minimal prior knowledge of German. Available both online and in-person, it focuses on teaching you the basics of German and preparing you for essential daily situations.

Level A2 | Basic Knowledge

Deepen your initial knowledge of German. If you already have some strong foundational knowledge, this course is suitable for you. You'll reinforce grammar from the A1 course, learn new structures, and expand your vocabulary. This course also builds your confidence in basic conversations, both spoken and written.

Level B1 | Intermediate

Complete your foundational knowledge. If you've completed A2, this course is ideal for developing independent use of the German language at a medium level.

Level B2 | Independent Language Use

Perfect for further development for study and work purposes. This course is suitable if you need German for academic or professional reasons or wish to take the Telc B2 exam. You'll learn to engage in spontaneous discussions, argue your points, and understand key ideas in texts.

Level C1 | Specialized Language Skills

For competent use of German. If you already possess advanced German skills and aim to study or work in German-speaking countries, this course helps you understand complex texts and grasp implicit meanings.

Level C2 | Near Native-Level Proficiency
